This site collects personal information in one place: the enquiry form. What you submit (name, contact details and the machine details you provide) goes by email to [email protected] and is used to respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote. It is not sold, shared or added to any marketing list.

The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless page-view counter. It stores nothing on your device, does not identify you and does not follow you to other sites. When we run paid advertising, pages also load the Meta (Facebook) pixel, which uses cookies to measure whether an ad led to a visit or a purchase. Ad blockers stop it and the site works fully without it. The enquiry form uses a spam check (Cloudflare Turnstile) on the form page only.

Pages also load HubSpot, the customer record system we use to keep track of enquiries. It sets cookies and records which pages you look at, so that if you contact us we can see what you had already read and pick the conversation up from there rather than asking you to repeat yourself. It is used for our own enquiries only. Ad blockers stop it and the site works fully without it.

When you send an enquiry or sign up for auction alerts, we record how you reached the site alongside your message: the first page you landed on, the website that referred you if any, and any campaign tag in the link you clicked. It tells us which of our own pages and ads are worth keeping. It is stored only for the length of your visit and is sent only with a form you choose to submit.

When you buy an auction report, payment is processed by Stripe; RedSpec never sees your card details. We keep the minimum needed to deliver and account for the sale: your email address, what you bought and the amount paid. Buyers are added to the auction report alert list and every alert email carries an unsubscribe link.

Enquiry emails are retained as normal business correspondence. If you want yours removed, email [email protected] and it will be deleted.
