How We Work
Submit an Inspection Request
Use our booking form to provide machine details, inspection type, and site or seller location. We’ll confirm availability and follow up if additional information is required.
Arrange Access
We coordinate directly with the seller, site contact, or asset managers to ensure safe and timely access to the machine. Site requirements (e.g. inductions or SWMS) can be accommodated if needed..
Inspection Carried Out On-Site
A qualified Mobile Plant Mechanic from our team will attend the location and perform the inspection as requested. All assessments are conducted professionally and with minimal disruption to site or seller operations.
Report Delivered Within 1–3 Business Days
A detailed PDF report is prepared and reviewed internally before delivery. It includes photographic documentation, technical observations, summary findings, and red flag notes where applicable.

RedSpec is a Perth-based inspection service led by trade-qualified mobile plant mechanics with practical experience across mining, civil, and construction environments.
We specialise in detailed, independent inspections of earthmoving and heavy equipment, from compact machines to high-value fleet assets. Our reports are built around real-world mechanical insight, not generic checklists, with a focus on supporting procurement, planning, and ongoing maintenance.
We’re not affiliated with sellers or repairers. Our role is to provide objective, field-tested assessments that help clients make confident, informed equipment decisions.
